Blackjack Is Like A Roller Coaster

[ English ]

Blackjack is a game that reminds me of a crazy ride. It’s a game that starts slowly, but gradually gains speed. As you ramp up your bank roll, you feel as though you are making moves to the top of the coaster and then when you don’t expect it, the bottom drops out.

Blackjack is so much like a roller coaster the similarities are alarming. As with the popular amusement park experience, your black jack game will peak and things will appear to be going great for a time before it bottoms out one more time. Of course you have to be a player that will be able to readjust to the ups … downs of the game mainly because the game of black jack is awash with them.

If you like the small coaster, a coaster that won’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the ride is with a fatter bet, then hop on for the rollercoaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The big spender will love the view from the monster wild ride because he or she is not considering the drop as they rush headlong to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that’s terrific, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to flip and turn, you had better bail out in a hurry.

If you don’t, you might not necessarily recall how much you enjoyed the view while your cash was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a mad ride and your head in the stratosphere. As you are recalling "what ifs", you won’t recall how "high up" you went but you will quickly remember that catastrophic fall as clear as day.
