Blackjack Is Like A Wild Ride
Blackjack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a roller coaster. Black jack is a game that starts out slowly, but gradually picks up speed. As you ramp up your bankroll, you feel as though you are getting up to the top of the coaster and then when you are not expecting it, the bottom falls out.
Blackjack is so incredibly like a wild ride the similarities are astounding. As is the case with the popular fair ground experience, your black jack game will peak and things will seem as though they are going well for a while before it bottoms out yet again. You must be a bettor that shall be able to readjust to the ups … downs of the game given that the game of blackjack is choked full of them.
If you like the tiny coaster, a coaster that does not go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the roller coaster ride is with a bigger bet, then hop on for the mad ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high stakes gambler will love the view from the monster crazy ride because he or she is not thinking on the drop as they rush hastily to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that’s all lovely, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to twist and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.
If you do not, you will not necessarily remember how much you enjoyed everything while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a cool ride and your head in the clouds. As you are recounting "what ifs", you won’t clearly recount how "high up" you went but you will clearly remember that disastrous fall as clear as day.
